Symphoniq Names Howard Doherty Vice President of Sales

Former NetContinuum and Sana Security Executive Brings Extensive Sales Expertise to Round Out Symphoniq Management Team

Palo Alto, Calif. — November 19, 2007 — Symphoniq Corp., a pioneer in real end user experience monitoring, today announced the appointment of Howard Doherty to the company's management team as vice president of sales. As an accomplished sales executive, Doherty brings more than 15 years of sales and management experience in the enterprise market with proven expertise in broadening the customer base, while increasing revenue and maximizing profitability.

Most recently, Doherty was vice president of worldwide sales and business development at NetContinuum where he negotiated critical partnerships that helped drive revenues and increased sales by 14 times between 2005 and 2007. Prior to joining NetContinuum, Doherty was hired by Sana Security to create and build all areas of sales and revenue generation. During his tenure at Sana Security, Doherty created the direct and channel sales strategy plan, fostered partner relationships driving 30 percent of first year revenues, and led the sales team in building Sana Security's market presence.

Previously, Doherty spent time at Cisco Systems where he led a 14 person sales team responsible for commercial sales in the Silicon Valley . Prior to his time at Cisco Systems, Doherty spent several years as a leading sales manager for various Silicon Valley companies, including Netscape and Avenue Technologies.
